The university, which stems from the historical depth must be distinct and works for a scientific and cultural creativity that is - Diyala University - which its name gave to it a great responsibility where had to be understand its historical extended to maintain it historical heritage with all what is creative , modern and on the other hand Has to cope with all the developments in the world and changed it into a small village.

  In this dept. the student will study Biology Sc. and Bacteria, Parasites, Immunology and Virology (Viruses) at the second year.  Also there is supervision for the higher studies students to getting the Master degree and Doctorate degree in both fields of Micro – Biology Veterinary and Parasites.
